Decorative Panel Balustrades are beautifully decorated with sand-blasted etching on the glass panel (Types VS and VL), or etching of the stainless steel panels (Type VP). Customer’s décor requests can be reflected. Automatic Start/Stop Operation The sensor located near the landing detects approaching passengers and automatically starts operation. It stops operation when all the passengers have exited, conserving energy by operating only when the escalator is in use. |

Demarcation Lamps To aid passengers in clearly identifying the boundary line between steps, fluorescent lamps are mounted under the escalator steps. These are located at the upper and lower landings and illuminate in green to ease boarding and exiting. Dressing Guards In order to enhance passenger safety, skirt guards are equipped with a protector to prevent shoes or other objects from being caught between the skirt guard and a step. |

Step with Small
Lamp Windows and Demarcation Lamps Holes are drilled in the step’s tread and a resin cover is put into position allowing the passage of light for safer boarding and exiting. Expanded Illumination to Newel The light under the handrail is extended to newel, brightening the landing area. (Type VL) |
